The Listening Pod

Try our early laptop pilot

Choose a question, record a short story and turn it into an editable text file on your laptop. Keep the original voice recording too, with an optional MP3 download.

Start with a short practice story in Chrome on a laptop or desktop. Automatic transcripts need checking. This free pilot has no accounts, payments or online story library.

Your audio and story text are processed in your browser, not uploaded to us. Download your files before clearing the session. The speech model downloads from an external provider; full privacy and help information is on the pilot page.
